Peanut Crisp Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 package chocolate chips (12 oz.)

Directions

Combine sugar, margarine and syrup in saucepan and bring to a boil. Blend in peanut butter. In a large bowl, combine the Rice Krispies and nuts. Add the hot mixture. Blend well and press into a buttered 9x13 inch pan. If desired, frost with melted chocolate chips. Cut into squares. Needs no baking.
