It's my mother-in-law's birthday. I can't say that I am her favorite, but you know. I have been making quilts. You can say I am a "quilting junkie". So I decided to make her one. This pattern I haven't seen before, I'm sure it's out there, but I call it the "T-quilt" (my name is Tracey.)
I wanted every time she sees it to think of just how wonderful I am. : ) If you look closely I just cut strips and sewed them together, then cut into squares. I sewed each row together which made the front (lots of T's), making sure the pattern made a T. I used batting and brown fabric for the back. I do believe when I gave it to her I may have seen a smile.

I guess I forgot to say, yours is beautiful and since I made some just like that, I would say it is my favorite pattern. Great job.
I've made a couple just like that. Not that color. I made one for my mother and one for my niece. The one for my mother was variations of red patterns. Her favorite color is red.
YOU KNOW i DO NOT SEE T'S. I SEE A BASKET WEAVE. i REALLY LIKE IT. HOPE TO TRY THAT MYSELF.
The pattern is a variation of the rail fence. I am making one right now for a queen sized bed.
That's beautiful!! I wish I could do something that great. I'm going to try to make my first one.
You did a beautiful job! I am sure that she will appreciate it very much. While I am not a quilter, I can see that you put in many, many long hard hours into this quilt. The excellent workmanship speaks for itself.
Love it! You did an awesome job. Favorite or not she must be so impressed by your work. I would love it if you made me one! :) Jennifer
