T-Quilt

Photo of a T-Quilt.It's my mother-in-law's birthday. I can't say that I am her favorite, but you know. I have been making quilts. You can say I am a "quilting junkie". So I decided to make her one. This pattern I haven't seen before, I'm sure it's out there, but I call it the "T-quilt" (my name is Tracey.)

I wanted every time she sees it to think of just how wonderful I am. : ) If you look closely I just cut strips and sewed them together, then cut into squares. I sewed each row together which made the front (lots of T's), making sure the pattern made a T. I used batting and brown fabric for the back. I do believe when I gave it to her I may have seen a smile.

I guess I forgot to say, yours is beautiful and since I made some just like that, I would say it is my favorite pattern. Great job.

I've made a couple just like that. Not that color. I made one for my mother and one for my niece. The one for my mother was variations of red patterns. Her favorite color is red.

The pattern is a variation of the rail fence. I am making one right now for a queen sized bed.

You did a beautiful job! I am sure that she will appreciate it very much. While I am not a quilter, I can see that you put in many, many long hard hours into this quilt. The excellent workmanship speaks for itself.
