I left my stainless steel pan on the burner with water boiling on high. I came back after a while and the water was evaporated. The pan was over heated and had turned a bronze color. How can I remove the bronze color on the bottom?

Use some white vinegar and sprinkle on some table salt. Rub it in using a dish cloth or sponge and it should look good as new.
