Homemade Colored Sugar for Cookies

Mix granulated sugar in a bowl with food coloring to desired color, then spread out on a jelly roll pan and put into the oven at 200 degrees, keep checking and stirring around until dry. Store in spice jars. Rather cheap!

Great tip, I was just looking at buying coloured sugar, now I'll make my own!
