Vaseline to Weatherproof Screws

A handy tip if you are using screws outside for any purpose. Dip the screw point in some Vaseline, or grease before you screw it into the wood, or wall, this will put a kind of weather proof coat over it. Plus, if you also smear some over the screw head this will help it from rusting up, and will make it easy if and when you need to get them out.
