I have received the MOST adorable gingerbread men cookies with them in various Yoga Poses. I DO NOT want to eat them. I would LOVE to preserve them. Anyone have ideas as to how this may be done?

Greatly appreciate your insights!

Good Luck on these. I'd think a couple coats of shellac would do the trick. But just remember to store them in a container so children might be tempted to eat them, when not in use or decorating. Also, the shellac will not keep critters from eating them. When I was a youngster, my Brownie troop made decorative holiday homemade bread arrangements for our Mothers. Mom went to retrieve her's from the attic & a mouse had eaten part of the bread loaf.

Buy a clear laquer spray and coat both sides and they should last you a long long time!
