I have 3 very large pacu that have outgrown their tank. Any advice on what to do? Does anyone buy large fish? I have 6 aquariums but not a single one with room enough to seperate them. Thank you for your input.

You can go to Auqabids.com and you can find someone to buy them. you can also find some great deals on fish and supplies.

Pacu get HUGE - they can get to be about 2 feet long, but some will even get to 30" long. Our LFS has some in a 500 gallon custom tank - easy enough for a store, but unless you've got some money to spend, hard for an individual. I hope someone warned you about the size and tank requirements when you bought them - usually they're pretty small when you get them. We almost bought a couple, but the LFS owner pointed out his large tank and asked if we were willing to have that in our home when the fish were grown. Needless to say, I don't have pacu.

If you can't get them a large tank, maybe you could find a fish store or public aquarium that can accomodate them. Good Luck!
