What kind of apples make the most juice in an electric juice maker? I'm only getting 1 cup per 4 or 5 apples. Thanks

It may depend on what kind of juicer you are using. I have used several, and am currenty experimenting with the sauce maker attatchment on the Kitchen Aid. Really might look at the pulp coming off, and how much juice you are losing there. GOOD LUCK!!

You're actually getting a pretty fair amount as it is. Apples aren't really bred for juicing. If you're looking for flavor, try one part Jonathan, one part MacIntosh, and two parts Yellow Delicious. that's a local favorite her in So. West Michigan.
