Smoothies are a great way to start your morning, they help give you the energy you need plus 75% of your fruit serving for the day.
Ingredients:
- 1 Banana.
- 3/4 cup frozen fruit (Strawberries, mixed berry, peaches etc.)
- 1/2 cup of yogurt, complimentary flavor.
- 1/2 cup soy milk or regular milk.
- 1 Tbsp flax seed oil (optional, gives you your omega 3 and 6)
Note: If you do not have yogurt or milk you can use juice in their place.
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If it is not moving very well add more milk.
