Recycling Spray Deodorant Cans

Can spray deodorant cans be recycled? If so, how?

Wow, I haven't seen spray deodorant on store shelves for years so didn't even realize it was still made! I think that's a question you're going to need to ask your local recycling center(s) because every municipality handles recycling differently.
