My girls love fancy dress-up skirts and dresses made from tulle but by the time they outgrow them the tulle is usually too "raggy" to hand down. I glean the good pieces of the tulle as well as any sparkly accents to use on gifts. Simply wrap your gift in plain white tissue and dress it up with a tulle bow, a sparkly band, etc. I have used this idea for weddings, baby showers, and birthdays. Many people have commented on my "deluxe" gift wrap and, a little accent goes a long way.

My sister-in-law uses tulle to decorate Christmas gifts. Her gifts are always so beautiful! She wraps the gifts in red or green paper, then ties the tulle around and in a bow. It's gorgeous! It seems so simple, but looks very elegant. Great idea!
