Longer Lasting Paint Brushes
When you buy a new paint brush, soak it in linseed oil for 12 hours before using it for the first time. This will extend the life of the paint brush and make it easier to clean.

How long to soak? Will the oil interfere with waterbased paints? Should I rinse off the residual oil prior to painting with Latex? If this works well, it's a good time saver, for SURE! God bless you. : )
