Wildlife: Hairy Woodpecker
A hairy wood pecker, one of the many types of birds that feed at my oriole feeders. These fellows stay in my yard year round. I feed them seed and suet throughout the winter months, then they drink sugar water at the oriole and hummingbird feeders in the summer. They are very cheerful birds, and not afraid of me at all!

I feed the birds all year long. I must admit I was amazed to see the woodpeckers eating at the hummingbird feeder. It seemed like I was always making the solution for the little "hummers", so I bought a feeder that the woodpeckers can't clutch onto. Problem solved!
