Oatmeal Milk Bath

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 2 cups dry milk powder
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal (ground finely)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender until mixed. Keep in a glass jar with a lid. Add 1/2 cup to hot bath water.

Tip: Oatmeal Milk Bath

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl before transferring to a decorative bottle. Attach a gift tag with these directions: "Oatmeal Milk Bath" Add a generous amount to warm water running bath water. Soak, relax and enjoy.

I did this for my child with eczema, it work to calm the itching. Probably would work for other skin ailments, also. Thanks for recipe. (01/26/2010)
