Vonage will only be as good as your internet connection. If you are dropped offline a lot or lose your service for periods of time, you will lose your phone service. It is nice and cheap but keep those things in mind.

I have Vonage. I have limited ( 500 minutes) which cost about $26 a month.
I like it. Reception is very good and service is also. There are many types of calls you do not get charged for. I have never once in the years I have had it gone over the limit. Setup is easy.
I was wondering if anyone uses, or has had experience with Vonage. I don't use my phone much for long distance, maybe once every week or two.
