I'm looking for ideas for a Waterski Club parade float. The theme is "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow".

Do you wear a costume or a uniform? Or you could wear vintage, current, and futuristic swimwear. (Something to differentiate between the time periods) Then stand on skateboards or have wheels on your skis and be pulled behind a vehicle decorated to look like a boat. Instead of riding ON a float.

Sounds like "A Christmas Carol" would work.
Star Trek and other space operas would work as well.
