Apple Oletta


  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 4 cups diced, unpeeled apple
  • Ad
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla


Cream together sugar and margarine; beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar-margarine mixture. Add apples and nuts (It is very thick batter). Spread in greased 9x13 inch pan (or can used non-stick cooking spray). Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes. Cut into 12 or 15 squares and serve with lemon sauce or whipped topping.
