Lining a Chimney

If so, we did this 9 years ago. We bought all we needed from a fireplace company. We inserted the chimney liner inside our chimney ourselves. We have a beautiful fireplace that we use each winter. Or are you talking about making your own liner out of metal/aluminum of some sort and inserting that into your chimney. If so, call your insurance company to see if they will then insure your home, should you have not made it properly and there is a fire.
