I need an idea for a float for a Christmas parade. The courthouse employees ride on the float.

How about portraying the the scene from Miracle of 34th Street with the US Post bringing in sacks of letters addressed to Santa in court - having people dressed to play the main characters in the movie and others dressed as elves? And a big sign saying Macy's on one end of the float - with the store window with lots of toys, and Gimble's at the other end - same type of window display (toy trains, dolls etc..)
