You don't have to be a girl to have a sweet 16 party.
1. A Fear Factor party for that age would go over well and leave them talking for weeks about the cool party you threw. I throw my son one and did a lot of research on the web for thrifty ideas and used stuff we already had at the house.
2. Video game tournament party. Have all kinds of food and snacks and let them do what they do best. and Music of their choice.
3. Get inspiration and ideas from your son also and let your creative juices go forth and create the best sweet 16 for your son.
