Landscaping Around a Stone Patio

I would like some ideas for how to landscape around a stone patio.

I like to curve flower beds around a patio so it looks as if the patio has evolved with the plants. It looks more natural. Don't use straight lines. If the patio is rectangular, carve out oblong, curved beds around the corners.
