I like the health benefits of green tea, but I'm not too hip on the taste of it. To remedy this, when I make a half gallon of iced tea, I use 4 green tea bags and 4 regular (black) tea bags, instead of all regular tea bags. There's just enough regular tea to balance out with taste of the green tea. Plus, I now get the antioxidant benefits of both kinds of tea!

Someone told me that all tea comes from the same kind of tea plant, just at different stages of growth. Interesting?

It may just be me, but I like to really dilute my tea. Just enough color and sweetner to give it taste, but more water (which is good for you too). I just got used to it after awhile. Now it's my preferred choice for drinking tea.

Just remember that the black tea uses boiling water, green tea DOES NOT use boiling water. Boiling water will kill all the good stuff in the green tea. So boil water with black tea, let is cool a little then add green tea. :)
