I am looking for a "make your own" recipe for scented bath powder. What are the ingredients in baby powder to make your own?

I use a recipe that is for bath salts. It's not hard like the ones you can buy. You use 3 cups epson salt, I tbs glycerine and food coloring. You can only use a plastic or ceramic bowl for this recipe, not metal, it will stain. Mix the food coloring( you usually need only a couple of drops and make sure you don't use too much) and glycerine first then add the epson salt. Mix well. You can also add a couple sprays of perfume or body spray. Keep stored in a air tight container and use about a half of a cup for each bath.

you can use plain cornstarch and essential oils of your choice or take a pound of cornstarch and mix with a scant 1/4 cup of baking soda then add the oil of your choice. start with a drop of oil. shake or mix well. let it set. if you want more scent add more oil the same way a drop at a time. essential oils are very strong but they don't always seem that way in the bottle. better to go slow than have to throw out your powder because it smells too strong.
