Ladyfinger Recipe |

I am looking for a ladyfinger recipe (not a cheesecake). Ingredients included whipping cream, lemonzest(?), then topped with canned cherries.

RE: Ladyfinger Recipe
Here is a recipe for ladyfingers, not exactly the ingedients that you were looking for, but this turns out awesome: 2 cups whole milk 1/2 cup sugar, divided 4 egg yolks 5 tablespoons cornstarch 1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon banana liqueur 12 ladyfinger cookies 11/2 cups fresh cherries 2 tablespoons shredded coconut In a saucepan, combine the milk and half of the sugar. Place over medium heat, and warm, stirring frequently, until it begins to bubble around the edges. Place the rest of the sugar in a bowl, and add the egg yolks and cornstarch. Whisk until pale yellow. Temper the egg yolks by whisking in 1/4 cup of the hot milk. (This raises the temperature of the eggs so they don't scramble when added to other hot ingredients.) Pour the egg mixture into the pot with the milk, and bring to a boil for 1 minute or until it thickens, whisking constantly. Remove from the heat, and stir in the butter and liqueur. Place 2 cookies on each plate. Spoon the pudding over. Stem and pit all but 12 of the cherries. Place the pitted cherries on top of the pudding, and garnish with the remaining cherries. Sprinkle with the shredded coconut, and serve. Serves 6
