How can I find an organization that will help get a car for my daughter and grandkids? She works hard but has a hard time just feeding 3 children on her own. She needs transportation but is unable to afford a vehicle.

Where is the father of the kids in this picture? He should be paying support. Most states will help her collect it with garnishment order if necessary.

Try your local Community Action Corperation, ours has a program that helps people with cars, they may be able to help or know of other organizations that can.

Our church has a fund and a program for single parents. They donate used cars and other necessities to needy single parents. Churches are great networks and if they can't help, maybe they know another organization who can.

Stand up in church and ask! someone can either lend or give an extra car for a while. You can approach the church board privately if you like and ask about their benevolence fund. It's what churches do!
