Brutus (Harlequin Great Dane)
Brutus is now nearly 18 months. This picture was taken when he was about 3 months. He is a Harlequin Great Dane. We drove two hours to get Brutus in 100+ degree heat in 2008.
Besides "helping" me garden by pulling weeds (and sometime flowers!), he loves to visit the dog park and loves to play hide and seek with us in the house (not easy for a 150+ pound dog!) He was kind of a grumpy little puppy, but is so playful and affectionate now. He is extremely intelligent, very protective and a real joyful addition to our family.

Poor Brutus, he looks like he can't wait to get out of that dish. :)
