I have a steel front door so when I want to remember something, I'll stick the note on the door with a magnet. This way when I leave, I can't help but see the note and remember! I just leave several magnets attached to the door in case I need them. Many new homes have metal front and back doors as they cost much less than wood or fiberglass, but this really comes in handy for those of us who live in mobile homes!

Congratulations on winning this week and I wish we had a metal front or back door. A great idea, it seems I remember what I forgot when I am in the car!

I do this too. Our front door and the door leading into the garage are both steel. I use a magnetic clip and then I just clip a note or directions I've printed from mapquest, etc to the door I'll be leaving through and no more forgotten directions or grocery list, etc.
