What can I use to clean the leather in my car? It is starting to crack and is somewhat soiled. I have tried to clean the leather, but it does not work. Thank you.

Go on line to www.griotsgarage.com Get Interior Cleaner for leather and then use Leather Care Spray. They are excellent products and well worth the money.

You can find it at all auto supply stores, many hardware stores and I've even seen it at stores like Target and WalMart.

3M Co. makes a product for cleaning leather interiors. Should be available at automotive stores. Possibly Target or Walmart.

How do I clean leather car seats and plastic car interior?

Tom from Chickasha, OK

RE: Cleaning Leather Car Interior

Try using a little Murphy's Oil soap and water. Do not saturate. After it dries try using a little lemon or orange oil or furniture polish on it to keep it in good condition. Put the lemon or orange oil, or polish on a cotton cloth a wipe onto interior, then wipe off the excess. Hope this helps. (08/22/2006)

3M Co. makes a very good vinyl and rubber conditioner part number #05959 sold through auto stores. They also make a leather protector as well. (08/22/2006)
