To avoid orange palms after fake tanning, rub a little toothpaste into you hands then rinse it off.

I heard lemon juice works. Also I have used nail polish remover (probably not the best idea) on spots that didn't blend and that worked ok.

Request: Removing Sunless Tanning Stains

Archived on 04/23/2009

Can you remove Sunless Tanning product stains from the face area, in one day?

Ana from NY

Feedback:

RE: Removing Sunless Tanning Stains from Face

VERY CAREFULLY, try washing your face with a magic eraser sold in any cleaning isle in the supermarket. I used it on my ankle and knees and it worked great, however the package does say NOT TO USE IT ON SKIN, MAY CAUSE IRRITATION. GOOD LUCK

Editor's Note: Please do not use Magic Erasers on your skin. People have reported burning and blisters, especially the delicate skin near your face. (12/10/2007)

If you can't remove the stains from your face, you might have to cover them up for a while with some liquid make-up and face powder. (12/10/2007)

What about using baking soda or any exfoliating scrub? (12/11/2007)
