What kind of things do you like to do together? Choose one and add special touches to add romance :-) Even if you're on a tight budget there's lots you can do :-)
For instance, let's say you like to watch movies together. If so why not do it at home with a couple of movies that are meaningful to you both. If you have children or room mates make sure they're gone for the night ;-) Instead of popcorn and soda have a cheese, summer sausage and cracker plate for snacking. If you drink, share a bottle of champagne with champagne glasses (even if they're plastic) and if you don't drink there are non-alcoholic sparkling ciders made by Martinelli at nearly every grocery store. Oh, and don't forget to turn off the telephone(s) and be sure to light some candles ;-)
