Ceramic May Have Burnt Off the Eye of My Stove Top

I left a pot of boiling water on my ceramic top stove by mistake til the water boiled dry. The pot has a copper bottom, but I think the ceramic burnt off the eye of the stove. Do I have to replace the whole top?
