Slice hot dogs lengthwise, do not cut in two. Place cheese in slit. Wrap bacon slice around hot dogs and fasten with a toothpick. Place in broiler pan. Quickly brown bacon on bottom side. Turn.
Broil at medium heat until bacon is crisp. Pour ketchup over hot dogs a few minutes before ready to serve.
