What is better and cheaper, professional personalized t-shirts (if so where) or do it yourself? And what would be a good saying for the back of the shirt?

There are many good sayings depending on the occasion to use on the back of shirts. If they are to be all the same saying probably professional work would be cheaper depending on how many you need.

As for sayings try something like: If Life is such a bowl of cherries, how come I got all the pits?; Sometimes you're the frog, sometimes the bug; Youth and vigor will never beat Age and treachery; Having a positive attitude might not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort (Herm Albright)
