I'm a college student and am trying to set up a harvest moon autumn festival mixing in different cultural ideas (like Chinese mooncakes). I am planning on including different myths and rituals with each mooncake so people can share them with each other, and have a bobbing for apples section where they can then make their apple into a caramel apple. Do you have any other ideas that would work for adults too?

I would also include something for rosh hashana(SP) such as honey apples or circluar bread and perhaps something related to the native american green corn festivle. In old irland they carved turnips instead of pumpkins. And theres the german Oktoberfest. So German music or dancing might be good.
