Super Cherry Sauce
- 2 cups cherries
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Combine 1 cup cherries, sugar, water and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, and simmer 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in remaining 1 cup cherries and lemon juice. To make blueberry sauce, substitute 2 cup blueberries for the cherries.
