This is Feather. He is a 10 month old Peek-a-Poo. He loves Geo Caching. The picture is of Feather and one of the 15 Geo Caches we found on our summer camping trip to the Oregon Coast. Geo Caching is a great outdoor activity for families or almost anyone. All you need is a hand held GPS unit (you can get them for less than $100).
Geo Caching is where get coordinates from the internet site input them into your hand held GPS unit, then off you go to fine the geo cache site using your GPS to guide you. Once you find the site there will be a cache and in it will be a log book for you to log your visit. There are millions of geocaches all over the world. It is becoming a very popular thing to do with families, because the only cost is the cost of the GPS unit.
