How can I naturally get my eye lashes to grow? I know tricks to apply when using makeup but I don't always like wearing makeup. Any suggestions?

I cut my eye lashes down very short when I was about eight years old, it took about a month and a half for them to grow back but when they did I swear they grew longer! I cut them off because I wanted to wear sunglasses but couldn't because of their length. You will however get a lot of stuff in your eyes as that time pasts.

Your eyelashes will not grow longer as it is a genetic trait. All you can do is emphasise them with tricks, such as using mascara, or other products such as a curler to make them seem longer. You can also condition them, which will make them seem thicker and longer, by rubbing vaseline or moisturiser over them. If you do not want a daily chore, have them tinted, as this will also make them seem thicker and longer. Apart from that, there's little you can do.

Try getting them dyded. Have a professional do this, because certain dyes can cause eye irritation and even blindness. I dye my eyelashes black about every other month or so. It looks much more natural than clumpy mascara, and you will have the effect of lengthening them. The other poster was correct, eyelash length is genetic. You can make them look longer, but not actually make them grow.

I've had great luck with Vitamin E. Just poke a capsule and coat eyelashes top and bottom, leave overnight. Try it right before bed as it makes your eyelashes sticky, but a shower or wash cloth in the morning cures that. Really seems to thicken them up too. Use the leftover on scars, dry spots or maybe a wrinkle or wrinkle prone area. :) Good Luck!

I think eye lash length is genetic. I am not sure there is anything you can do to make them grow. Have you tried false lashes? They aren't an everyday solution, but they could be fun.

Castor oil works, just apply a little every night.

I heard that if you put baby oil on your eyelashes it will make them grow, I have really long eyelashes so I have never really tried it, but I have heard good things about baby oil.
