Attaching Storage Containers to Roof of Tent Camper?

I was wanting to hang some storage ideas from the roof of my tent trailer, but I am unsure about using screws in fear of leaking. So how are all those storage ideas possible? Please help a fellow camper.

Make sure the storage containers are covered. That way, if you do have a leak, your items are protected.

Are you talking about a pop up tent trailer? I would not do it. Those are not designed to hold weight.

My guess is most people are using some sort of a after market rack system. Then you have a solid base to attach your storage solution to without drilling holes in your roof. There is some drilling involved but the manufacturer states: "Good day, yes this will require drilling along the edge of the roof in order to attach the system. Thanks!"

With that system to can attach lots of different storage solutions.
