Need advice on who hires people with a crime on their record like a felony charge?

You cannot work for the government or many other places. Most applications will ask you if you have ever been convicted of a felony. You cannot lie, as they will do a background check on you.

I would ask my parole officer for help in applying for a job.

I agree on asking your parole officer. There are always local job centers that take your background information and match you up with applicable careers. I wish you good luck.

This one can be hard to find a job. When you're looking for work don't forget to add this to your application. If the owner of the company finds out later, this can be very bad for you.


However, today there are many ways to earn money online, This is another possibility for working and earning money.

If you have a record it is best to seek advice from your parole officer about who he knows that will hire you. Normally, they work with a few companies that will hire people with a felony record.
