Frog and Fly Catcher Game - finished frog with yard coming out of mouth and fly on the end This is a free, fun and challenging game. You can make one frog, two, or five and make your own rules.

The object of this frog and fly catcher game is to get the string with the fly into the frog's mouth!

Example of rules:

1. Everyone holds their own frog and whoever gets the fly first in the frog's mouth wins a point, and so forth.
3. Everyone holds their own frog and last person to get fly in is eliminated and repeats until there is one person left which will be the winner.
2. In 3 minutes, how many times can you get a fly in the frog's mouth.
4. Rules can vary depending on age group, how many people playing, etc.

My kids just had fun playing with the frog as is, but this game could be made for larger groups too.

Total Time: 25 minutes

Supplies:

construction paper
yarn
tape
stapler
dot stickers
Sharpie
scissors

Frog and Fly Catcher Game - supplies

Steps:

Freehand draw and cut frog hand/legs (webbing). You will also need (2) same size rectangular pieces of paper. Pictured is what you will need if you are making 2 sets of frogs.

Roll the two rectangular sheets of paper together to make the body and tape. The red paper is rolled inside of the green.

Using a string of yarn, place through the tube and secure yarn in place with a stapler and tape toward one end as pictured.

Tape on the frog's legs. You will now have a string hanging out from the mouth.

Using dot stickers, draw eyes and a fly image.

Stick eyes onto the frog.

Stick (2) fly dot stickers together on the end of the yarn.
