Making a Mini Pumpkin Planter

Supplies:

• small pie pumpkin
• winter pansies
• pumpkin knife
• spoon
• potting soil

Steps:

1. Cut the top off the pumpkin using a pumpkin knife. Remove the lid.


2. Use a spoon to scrape out the inside of the pumpkin.


3. Add soil to the pumpkin, leaving room to plant the flowers.

4. Put the flowers into the pumpkin, adding additional soil if necessary.

5. Water lightly to keep the plants healthy. Try to avoid adding excess water. Enjoy!

Love it! I'll have to remember this project for next fall.

It is very sweet but I pocked holes in mine for drainage! To keep it from being a water bowl. or just a shot glass of water.
