Sidewalk Chalk Boundaries When Camping

Bronze Post Medal for All Time! 162 Posts

Use sidewalk chalk to mark the boundaries of where your kids can play or ride their bikes around your campground. Another family did this where we recently went camping and I thought it was a brilliant idea. They had also setup a start and finish line for a race (which I had to run with my five year old many times). I will be adding sidewalk chalk to my camp boxes for next year.

We did this on our paved driveway with white paint when our children were young and taught them that they were allowed anywhere in the driveway but not past the white line. It worked wonderfully well :)

It also works for stopping ants from invading your picnic. Draw a circle around your area or around the area where most of the ants are congregating and they will stay inside the line.
