I had a bridal garter that we couldn't even give away in my area. I made it into a skirt for a Barbie doll. I also cut off the long ribbons in the front to a more manageable length.
This is an easy craft, and the point is that many small bits of lace and fancy material can be used make some doll clothes that will make some little girl very happy.
