Use Plastic Zipper Bags as Mini Greenhouse

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 555 Posts

A plastic zipper bag with a seedling inside. My husband got some thermal shirts that came in these zippered plastic bags and rather than throw them away, he decided to use them as mini greenhouses for his seedlings! I gave him additional ones that I had from some linens I had bought previously and couldn't bear recycling. I knew they could be up-cycled as something else!

I thought that was a pretty clever idea since we can even hang them outside during the day. Inside they will never spill over dumping dirt everywhere if our cats get too close to them either!

I as partially disabled and order the "heavy" items from WM.com. They put things like my detergent and other liquid items in large zip bags. I have been saving them thinking they would be good for something. Will definitely use this idea next spring. :)
