Beat into a lather or put in a foam-producing bottle. Spray on, leave a couple minutes and rub off. Because so little ammonia is being used in such a large quantity of water, it does not leave a strong ammonia smell. I did this on a very large spot, and it really works! Just be sure to do a test spot first to make sure the dye in the material doesn't fade.
If you spill coffee or tea on carpet or upholstery, immediately sprinkle corn meal on the spot, making it twice as large as the original stain. Do NOT vacuum up the corn meal until the next day when the spot has totally dried. You will have NO stain remaining.

How can you get a coffee stain out of carpet? I have tried several things including carpet cleaning to no avail.
