My Bissell green machine is leaking water from the bottom of the machine. How do I make it stop leaking?

If you can find the leak and its part of the tank, try sealing it with sealant. the bottom of my tank leaked and I used silicone made for fish tanks. That held it for about a year then I had to replace it.
