Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 8 qts. popped corn

Directions

In saucepan mix butter, corn syrup, sugar, salt and vanilla. Boil for 5 minutes. Add soda. Pour caramel sauce over popped corn and stir. Place corn in 3 large pans and bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour, stirring several times. Store in air-tight container.
