Cheesy Spaghetti Bake


  • 1-2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 15 oz. jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 6 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • Ad
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 4 tsp. flour
  • 1 cup American cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste


In a large skillet, brown the ground chuck and onion together. Drain the meat and add the spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Break the spaghetti into thirds and cook it according to the package directions. Drain the spaghetti and mix it into the meat sauce mixture. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the evaporated milk and flour. Slowly add 1/2 cup of the American cheese and the Parmesan cheese. Spread 1/2 of the spaghetti/meat mixture into the bottom of a 10x6 inch pan. Spoon all of the cheese sauce over the top. Add the other 1/2 of spaghetti/sauce mixture on top. Top with 1/2 cup of the American cheese and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
