Fall Colors (Warren County, NC)

One thing I love about living in North Carolina is we get to enjoy the 4 seasons. However, I have had enough hot humid weather and I am so looking forward to cooler days and fall colors. An October trip to the mountains would really be nice.

I have been searching my Fall pictures looking for one to put on my computer as a background and this one is my favorite. I shared this picture of Mabry Mill, VA on Thrifty Fun 4 years ago. I love this place.

I love being retired. In October, we can pick a day that the weather is good and just take off. A day trip to the mountains is in our plans. I'm getting excited! We'll pack a lunch and some good snacks, fill the car up with gas and just take off and go. That's what I love to do and come back home and sleep in our own bed.
