Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • flour

Directions

Combine the above and stiffen with flour. Roll in small balls with hands. Place on greased cookie sheet, not too close together. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
